MoniCa Singh is a Award winning Motivational Speaker, Humanitarian and well known Social Activist for Violence against Women at the UN. She won women's achiever and True Honor award in 2017. She was appointed Global Youth Champion by UN Women and is also a Spokesperson at United Nations representing Face of Resilience from India – United States of America. She is a Fashion Design graduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, India and Fashion Marketing graduate from Parsons School of Design, New York, United States of America.
MoniCa Singh is an Acid attack survivor who never let go of her life's dream to work in fashion industry despite her attack. She paved her own way to New York and studied in one of the most renowned fashion schools in the world- Parsons School of Design. She uses her Marketing degree as an effective tool on social media to spread awareness about the crimes and reach out to the women around the world.
She is Founder & President of Mahendra Singh Foundation, founded in memory of her late father who was her biggest support. The Mahendra Singh Foundation is aimed at helping women to overcome their obstacles and achieve their potential. It offers support, guidance and hope. Besides providing scholarship to girls for education, the foundation strives to provide financial help towards medical costs. The foundation also strives to teach and enhance skills to achieve financial independence. The aim is to empower survivors to become self-sufficient to the best of their abilities.
