Monique is an actor, producer, and global youth advocate. She's most recognized as Taylor Mckessie in Disney’s High School Musical franchise. However, she's known to many as the ﬁrst ever United Nations Youth Champion. During The International Year of Youth, Monique organized and funded a 6 month global tour to 24 countries and raised awareness about the most pressing issues facing today's youth.
She is the Founder of GimmeMo, a multi-platform community that ampliﬁes youth voices and supports organizations who are working to make the world better for young people. Season 1 of The GimmeMo Show is currently available on HULU.
Mo tries to balance her work in entertainment with her passion for impacting the world. She stars as Lain in New Form Digital's "The Fourth Door" which can be seen on the Go90 app and appears in the upcoming indie ﬁlms "Little Star" & "The Outdoorsman". Monique is also executive producer of a short ﬁlm entitled "Distortion" which is partnered with the White House Campaign "Its On Us" to facilitate conversation around sexual assault on campus.
She is currently a Champion for The UN Foundation's "Girl Up Campaign" and most recently directed a campaign for Nivea Australia.
